Job summary

American Traveler Staffing Professionals is seeking a Travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer in Washington, DC. The role requires nights with 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, ASAP start for a 9-week assignment of 2 openings.

Responsibilities include performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures, maintaining regulatory records, QC of equipment, and avoiding licensure issues. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the facility and meet SSN requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience in a US hospital.
• Active ultrasound license required; pending licenses not accepted.
• AHA certifications only.
• Two manager or supervisor references verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer.
• US SSN required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures and related techniques to produce diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation
• Maintain records in compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
• Perform equipment quality control procedures and report deficiencies to supervisor
• Must reside within 50 miles of the facility
