Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a travel assignment in Somerset, Kentucky. The role is a 13-week contract with 40 hours per week, night shifts on a 10-hour schedule, at a hospital setting.

Responsibilities include operating imaging equipment, interpreting results, and coordinating with care teams. ARDMS certification, appropriate degrees, BLS, and 2 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active ARDMS certification required.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree with coursework in sciences and anatomy.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment and ensure quality images for diagnosis.
• Identify normal and abnormal results and communicate findings to physicians.
• Prepare patients for procedures and educate during the ultrasound exam.
• Review medical history and document results in patient records.
