Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Loxahatchee, FL. The role involves generating high-quality ultrasound images and contributing to patient care alongside a dedicated clinical team.

The candidate should hold an accredited ultrasound program, a valid state license, and a current BLS certification, with ARDMS/ARRT credentials preferred. Travel benefits and comprehensive coverage are provided.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Minimum of one year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate diagnostic imaging into patient care plans.
• Prepare and position patients to ensure accurate imaging and prioritize comfort and safety.
• Perform clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations of general and vascular studies.
• Evaluate images for clarity and accuracy.
• Calibrate, maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment to ensure safety and compliance.
