Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) for a 13-week travel assignment in Loxahatchee, FL. The role involves performing high-frequency ultrasound studies, prepping patients, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support diagnostic imaging workflows.

Preferred candidates hold ARDMS/ARRT certifications; required are an accredited ultrasound program, 1 year of experience, BLS, and a valid state license.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Minimum of one year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform general and vascular ultrasound examinations as ordered.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment for safety and accuracy.
• Prepare and position patients for examinations, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Evaluate images for clarity and diagnostic usefulness.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation per regulatory standards.
