Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Virginia, Minnesota. The role requires 1 year of experience, BLS and ARDMS certifications, and state licensing as needed.

You will perform imaging, prep patients, and assist radiologists, with responsibilities including documentation and PACS usage. Shifts are 10 hours daily, 40 hours/week, travel position with competitive pay and travel benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 year of ultrasound experience.
• BLS certification and ARDMS national certification required.
• State-specific licensing may be required depending on state rules.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families about procedures.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and observe areas of concern.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist Radiologists with ultrasound procedures and biopsies.
• Report abnormalities to medical staff for immediate attention.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and report malfunctions.
• Document scan results and write reports.
• Maintain patient records and utilize PACS system.
