TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a travel assignment in Billings, MT. The role requires 1 year of experience, BLS, ARDMS certification, and applicable state licensing.

Responsibilities include patient education, performing exams, assisting radiologists, and maintaining equipment and records. The position offers a 13-week travel assignment with 40 hours per week, 10-hour days, and tax-free stipends.

Qualifikationen

• BLS certification required for patient care.
• ARDMS national certification is required.
• State-specific licensing may be required for the assignment.
• NMTCB CNMT certification preferred or required where applicable.

Aufgaben

• Educate patients and/or family regarding procedures performed.
• Use sonographic equipment to identify areas of concern.
• Prepare the exam room for examinations and assist Radiologists with ultrasound procedures and biopsies.
• Report any abnormalities to the medical staff.
• Maintain sonography equipment and report machinery failure.
• Conduct scan tests and write reports based on results.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
