Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a contract assignment in Baltimore, Maryland. This 13‑week travel role is 40 hours per week, with 8‑hour day shifts, in a hospital setting.

You must hold ARDMS certification, an appropriate science degree, BLS from AHA, and have at least 2 years of recent ultrasound experience. Competitive weekly pay and full benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Active certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree with coursework in sciences and anatomy
• American Heart Association BLS

General Diagnostic Sonographer Contract Details

• $2,400 - $2,652 per week*
• 13-week contract with possibility to extend
• AM shifts available
• Hospital Setting

Key Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment, and review images to be sure they are of good quality and helpful for diagnosis
• Identify normal and abnormal imaging results, communicate a summary of the results to physicians/health professionals, and alert them to urgent problems
• Prepare patients for procedures and educate patients throughout the ultrasound exam
• Review patient medical history, record imaging results in patient records, and coordinate care with various departments within the facility
