Supplemental Health Care is seeking a Travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week contract at a partnering hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina. The role involves night shifts of 10 hours, with potential extension based on performance and need, and offers the chance to work in a hospital setting across the region.

You will perform imaging, review results, educate patients, and coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification required.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree with coursework in sciences and anatomy.
• American Heart Association BLS
• 2 years of recent relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment and review images for quality and diagnostic usefulness.
• Identify normal/abnormal results and summarize for physicians, flag urgent issues.
• Prepare patients for procedures and educate during the ultrasound exam.
• Review patient history, document imaging results, and coordinate care with hospital departments.

• Active certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)

General Diagnostic Sonographer Contract Details

• $2,114 - $2,325 per week*
• 13-week contract with possibility to extend
• NOC shifts available
• Hospital Setting

Key Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment, and review images to be sure they are of good quality and helpful for diagnosis
• Identify normal and abnormal imaging results, communicate a summary of the results to physicians/health professionals, and alert them to urgent problems
• Prepare patients for procedures and educate patients throughout the ultrasound exam
• Review patient medical history, record imaging results in patient records, and coordinate care with various departments within the facility
