• DMS by MIRTP NMEDBLS certification via AHA required; certification within 1 year: ARRT abdomen RDMS ARDMS OB/GYN RDMS.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations and support imaging staff.
• Troubleshoot equipment and participate in quality assurance.
• Adhere to safety standards and imaging protocols.
• Maintain flexibility to work across shifts and sites and aid in patient assessment and data storage in PACS.

Ultrasonographer General located in a healthcare facility. The role involves performing a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures, supporting other imaging technologists, and facilitating smooth patient flow. The technologist must be capable of handling ultrasound equipment and demonstrate flexibility to work various shifts and locations as needed.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology or an accepted and approved equivalent; one year of ultrasound scanning experience preferred; basic computer skills required; valid state licensure if in New Mexico; DMS by MIRTP NMEDBLS certification via AHA required; certification required within 1 year of hire: Sonography (S) by ARRT, Abdomen (AB) RDMS by ARDMS, Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) RDMS by ARDMS; preferred certifications include Vascular Sonography (VS) by ARRT, Breast Sonography (BS) by ARRT, Breast (BR) RDMS by ARDMS, Adult Echocardiography (AE) RDCS by ARDMS, Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by ARDMS.
