TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Martinsville, Virginia. The US Tech will perform ultrasound imaging, educate patients, and assist radiologists. Must have 1 year of experience, BLS, ARDMS certification, and state licensing where required.

Position entails 40 hours per week, days shift, travel employment. TotalMed Allied offers benefits and support for travelers as they provide patient care across facilities.

Qualifications

• Requires 1 year of ultrasound tech experience.
• BLS and ARDMS certification required; state licensing as needed.

Responsabilités

• Educate patients and families regarding procedures performed.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and observe areas of concern.
• Prepare exam room and assist radiologists with ultrasound procedures and biopsies.
• Report abnormalities to medical staff.
• Maintain and troubleshoot sonography equipment; document results.
• Manage patient records and use PACS to store images.
