Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for an immediate travel opening in San Angelo, TX. The role requires ARDMS and BLS certification, 1 year of experience, and involves 40 hours per week for 13 weeks with day shifts.

The position includes duties such as patient education, operating ultrasound equipment, assisting radiologists, and maintaining records and PACS usage. Benefits include weekly pay and health benefits through TotalMed Allied.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as Ultrasound Technologist.
• BLS certification required.
• ARDMS national certification and state licensing as required.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and family about procedures.
• Identify and observe areas of concern with ultrasound equipment.
• Prepare exam room and assist radiologists with procedures and biopsies.
• Report abnormalities to medical staff.
• Maintain and troubleshoot sonography equipment.
• Document results and write reports.
• Maintain patient records and use PACS system.
