Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a travel job in Yuma, Colorado. The role requires 40 hours per week, with 8‑hour day shifts and no on‑call obligations. Start date is 10/26/2026 for a 13‑week assignment.

The candidate will perform ultrasound examinations across abdomen, OB, GYN, breast and vascular imaging, while ensuring patient safety and cross‑training into other imaging modalities as needed. Flu vaccination is required during flu season.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience.
• ARRT (R) certification.
• ARDMS in OB, NE, BR, AB.
• Current BLS/BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform ultrasound examinations including abdomen, OB, GYN, breast and vascular imaging.
• Evaluate, synthesize and communicate diagnostic information to referring physicians and radiologists.
• Ensure the safety and well‑being of patients in the Imaging Department.
• Troubleshoot ultrasound equipment and liaise with service engineers for repairs.
• Perform general diagnostic radiology procedures as needed.
• Cross-train into other imaging modalities as required.
• Organize daily work schedule and perform related clerical duties, including scheduling patients.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients and the healthcare team.
• Follow established departmental procedures and protocols.
