Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist in Wellington, Florida. This 13-week contract involves 36 hours per week with 12-hour PM shifts at a hospital setting. ARDMS certification is required, along with an Associate or Bachelor’s degree and BLS.

The role offers travel opportunities and comprehensive benefits through SHC. Ideal candidates have 2 years of recent experience and are prepared to review images, communicate results, prepare patients, and coordinate care

Qualifications

• Active ARDMS certification
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree with coursework in sciences and anatomy
• American Heart Association BLS
• 2 years of recent relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment and ensure image quality for diagnosis
• Identify normal/abnormal results and communicate summaries to physicians
• Prepare patients for procedures and educate during ultrasound exam
• Review patient history, document results, and coordinate care within the facility
