Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist in Wellington, Florida. This 13-week contract involves 36 hours per week with 12-hour PM shifts at a hospital setting. ARDMS certification is required, along with an Associate or Bachelor’s degree and BLS.

Qualifications:

• Active certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
• Associate or Bachelor's degree with coursework in sciences and anatomy
• American Heart Association BLS
• 2 years of recent relevant experience

General Diagnostic Sonographer Contract Details:

• $2,149 - $2,391 per week*
• 13-week contract with possibility to extend
• PM shifts available
• Hospital Setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate imaging equipment, and review images to be sure they are of good quality and helpful for diagnosis
• Identify normal and abnormal imaging results, communicate a summary of the results to physicians/health professionals, and alert them to urgent problems
• Prepare patients for procedures and educate patients throughout the ultrasound exam
• Review patient medical history, record imaging results in patient records, and coordinate care with various departments within the facility
