Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Pierre, SD. You will perform ultrasound exams, prepare the room, and collaborate with Radiologists to ensure accurate images for interpretation.

The role requires ARDMS and BLS, 1 year of experience, and ability to stand for long periods. Travel details include 40 hours per week, rotating shifts, and a tax-free stipend to be determined.

Qualifications

• 1 year of ultrasound tech experience is required.
• BLS and ARDMS national certification required; state licensing where applicable.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and handle exam preparation tasks.
• Solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment and ensure image accuracy for physician interpretation.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist radiologists with procedures and guided biopsies.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and expectations.
