Ultrasonographer, General Ultrasound, Salem, VA. The position performs general ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, gynecologic, small-parts, and breast imaging. The role includes rotating call and requires independent weekend coverage.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shifts of 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week; three shifts are scheduled Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
• Required Qualifications: Registered credential with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Sonography (S); ability to work independently on weekends.
• Preferred Qualifications: General ultrasound experience, including neonatal head examinations; small-parts and breast ultrasound experience.
• Additional Information: Clinical responsibilities include abdominal and gynecologic ultrasound, small-parts imaging, breast, liver, and thyroid biopsies, and thoracentesis. Rotating call is included. Professional conduct should be respectful, flexible, and kind. Dark gray solid scrubs are required.
