Travel Ultrasound Technician, Sonographer

Description

Performs Ultrasound exams including OB/Gyn, abdominal, breast, and small parts on a scheduled or emergent basis. Assists Radiologist as requested when needed. Ages of patients served range from newborn to geriatric.

What you will do:

  • Float throughout the hospital and/or across multiple hospital locations and regions
  • Understand and demonstrate standard elements of professional practice: Assess, Outcomes Identification / Solutions, Plan, Implement, Evaluate
  • Act independently within scope of knowledge & experience
  • Maintain accountability for delegation, decisions, and outcomes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve quality and outcomes
  • Embrace new responsibilities and ideas, managing priorities effectively

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an Associate or Bachelor’s degree program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Board eligible by ARDMS or ARRT; certified as RDMS or ARRT in ABD, OB/GYN, Breast, and RVT
  • Minimum of 24 months experience as an Ultrasound Tech
  • Maintain required credentials (e.g., BLS) through the American Heart Association
  • No concurrent position at Trinity Health
  • Ability to complete orientation and training, with flexible options available
