Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Springfield, Illinois. The role requires ARDMS ultrasound certification, a Radiologic Technology degree, and at least 1 year of imaging experience.

Expect 40 hours per week on an 8-hour shift, with travel stipends and comprehensive benefits. You will perform general ultrasound exams, collaborate with radiologists, educate patients, and maintain accurate records while adhering to safety and infection control

Qualifications

• ARDMS Ultrasound certification is required.
• Minimum 1 year imaging experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
• Degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• Proficiency with a variety of ultrasound equipment and imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality general ultrasound procedures and exams as ordered.
• Prepare and educate patients for imaging, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to deliver accurate diagnostic results.
• Maintain patient records and document procedures in compliance with facility protocols.
• Ensure imaging equipment is maintained and functioning properly; adhere to infection control guidelines.
