Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks an Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) for a 13‑week travel assignment in St. Johnsbury, VT. You will perform gen/vascular ultrasound scans, prep patients, and contribute to diagnostic imaging with a patient‑centered approach.

The role requires an accredited Ultrasound Technology program completion, at least 1 year of experience, BLS, and state‑compliant licensure. Travel benefits and dedicated clinical support are provided.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Minimum of one year of recent Ultrasound Technologist experience.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate imaging into care plans.
• Prepare and position patient for accurate imaging and comfort.
• Perform general and vascular ultrasound studies and diagnostic exams.
• Evaluate image quality and diagnostic value.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment for safety and function.
• Apply technical expertise and critical thinking during procedures.
• Work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining professionalism.
• Maintain accurate patient records and regulatory-compliant documentation.
