Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology seeks a travel Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) for a 13-week assignment in Columbus, OH. The role focuses on Echo/Vascular imaging, patient prep, and accuracy of diagnostic studies.

The candidate should have an accredited ultrasound program, minimum 1 year experience, and a current BLS. ARDMS/CCI credentials are preferred and benefits are provided by the travel program.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Minimum of one year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and terminology.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to integrate imaging into patient care plans.
• Prepare and position patient for accurate imaging and prioritize comfort and safety.
• Perform ultrasound examinations of general and vascular studies.
• Evaluate images for clarity and accuracy; calibrate and maintain equipment.
