Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) - Echo/Vascular for a 13-week assignment in Jasper, IN. This role supports patient care in a fast-paced vascular and cardiac imaging setting, offering a 40-hour work week, 8-hour day shifts, and travel-friendly compensation with comprehensive benefits.

Ideal candidates will complete an accredited Ultrasound Technology program, have at least one year of recent ultrasound experience, hold a valid state ultrasound

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Minimum of one year of recent Ultrasound Technologist experience.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.
• Preferred: ARDMS certification.
• Preferred: ARRT certification in Sonography.
• Preferred: CCI credential.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate diagnostic imaging into care plans.
• Prepare and position patient for accurate imaging and ensure comfort and safety.
• Perform clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography exams of general and vascular studies.
• Evaluate images for clarity and accuracy.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment per safety standards.
• Apply technical expertise and critical thinking for effective sonographic procedures.
• Work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining professionalism.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
