Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for an acute care hospital assignment in Anchorage, Alaska, starting Oct 2026. The role requires 2+ years of experience and proficiency with Canon, GE, and Toshiba ultrasound systems, with 40 hours per week and a Monday–Friday day schedule.

Responsibilities include general ultrasound, breast imaging, small parts, and ultrasound-guided biopsy procedures, with on-call shifts and weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• ARDMS certification and BLS required.
• Teaching hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general ultrasound, breast imaging, small parts, and ultrasound-guided biopsy/fine needle aspiration procedures.
• Work with Adult, Emergency Department, NICU, and Pediatric populations; include portable studies.
• Use Canon, GE and Toshiba ultrasound equipment; operate PACS; document in Cerner (Epic experience a plus).
• Weekend shifts and on-call duties; potential local/proximity float to meet facility needs.
