Job summary

GHR Healthcare is seeking a travel ultrasound technologist for a 13-week assignment in Yakima, WA. The position involves night shifts (Friday–Sunday, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM) in a hospital ultrasound unit, with 10–13 studies daily and independent work in a fast-paced environment.

Required ARDMS OB/ABD, BLS, and minimum 2 years acute care experience; RVT preferred. EPIC experience is beneficial and pediatric studies support is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of acute care ultrasound experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• ARDMS-OB and ARDMS-ABD certifications required.
• RVT certification preferred.
• Experience with OB/GYN, abdominal, vascular and general ultrasound.
• Independent work in fast-paced hospital setting.
• EPIC experience preferred.
• Pediatric ultrasound studies support a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations for inpatient and outpatient patients.
• Complete exams including OB/GYN, abdominal, vascular, and general ultrasound studies.
• Provide imaging support for first, second, and third trimester OB cases.
• Work independently while maintaining a strong focus on patient care, image quality, and exam accuracy.
• Support case volumes of approximately 10-13 studies per day.
• Float to nearby imaging locations as needed based on scheduling and coverage needs.
• Participate in on-call coverage as assigned.
