Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Biddeford, Maine. The role requires 1 year of ultrasound experience, ARDMS and BLS certifications, and state licensing as applicable.

You will operate ultrasound equipment, prepare exams, and assist Radiologists, with duties including patient education and charting. The position offers 40 hours per week on 10-hour day shifts in a travel capacity, supported by TotalMed Allied’s benefits and weekly pay

Qualifications

• 1 year of ultrasound experience required.
• ARDMS and BLS certifications required.
• State-specific licensing where applicable.
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families about procedures.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and observe areas of concern.
• Prepare exam room and assist Radiologists with ultrasound procedures.
• Report abnormalities to medical staff for immediate attention.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and report malfunctions.
• Conduct scans and write reports based on results.
