Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Baltimore, MD. The role requires 1 year of ultrasound experience, BLS, ARDMS certification, and state licensing as needed.

You will perform ultrasound exams, prepare patients, and assist radiologists, while maintaining accurate records and operating the PACS system. Pay is travel-based with a weekly schedule of 40 hours, dayshift, and a tax-free stipend to be determined.

Qualifications

• 1 year of ultrasound experience required.
• BLS and ARDMS national certification required; state licensing as needed.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families about procedures.
• Acquire images and observe areas of concern.
• Prepare examination rooms and assist radiologists with ultrasound procedures and biopsies.
• Report abnormalities to medical staff.
• Maintain sonography equipment and document results.
• Maintain patient records and operate PACS.
