Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer Echo position in an acute care setting. The role involves performing cardiac and vascular ultrasound procedures, acquiring high-quality echocardiographic and vascular data, and providing education and training to medical staff and trainees. The position requires independent work, effective communication, and adherence to clinical standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour days
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 40

• End Date: 02/15/2027
• Required Qualifications: High school education or equivalent. Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience from an accredited cardiac ultrasound program performing all types of cardiac ultrasound in a healthcare environment. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated and able to work independently. AHA Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) certification needed. Prior cardiac and/or vascular ultrasound experience in a healthcare setting. Minimum of 3 solid years of cardiac sonographer experience; consideration may be given to 2 years if candidates have been at an academic teaching hospital. Registered in cardiac ultrasound (ARDMS; RCS via CCI acceptable).
• Additional Information: Orientation hours amount to 12 non-billable hours. The client does not accept local candidates and enforces a 100-mile radius restriction. The call-off policy permits notifying the organization of up to 36 hours every 13 weeks. The department utilizes Philips EPIQ ultrasound equipment, IntellispaceEPIC for electronic medical records, and the ultrasound procedures may include cardiac and vascular imaging.
