Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Travel RN for the PCU in Medical City Denton, TX. This 13-week assignment runs from 7 PM to 7 AM, with a 36-hour workweek on a 12-hour night shift. The candidate will care for post-operative and acute patients in a Level 2 trauma setting, including trauma and orthopedic cases.

Required ACLS/BLS and an active RN license; Meditech EMR experience is a plus. The position offers travel benefits and full staffing support from ARMStaffing.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Experience in trauma or orthopedic nursing preferred.
• Knowledge of Meditech EMR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Caring for patients requiring acute surgical intervention or post-operative care, including trauma and orthopedic surgery.
• Monitoring patients with neurological diagnoses and providing necessary interventions.
• Administering medications, including intravenous drips for various conditions.
• Conducting vital sign monitoring and telemetry assessments.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
