Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Travel Nurse RN in Trauma ICU for a 13-week assignment in Tyler, Texas. The role requires a 3x12 schedule (07:00–19:00) with dayshift coverage and travel status.

The Trauma ICU is a Level I unit; you will provide critical care in a high-acuity setting and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. RN licensure, ACLS/BLS/NIHSS are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a Trauma ICU.
• Travel experience preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS. PALS and TNCC preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage care for ventilated patients and administer blood products.
• Perform central line care and monitor intracranial pressure (ICP).
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias effectively.
• Start and maintain IVs as required.
• Work collaboratively within the trauma team and support interdisciplinary efforts.
