Job summary

Sylvania seeks a Vacation in the Park Event Paraeducator to support planning and facilitation for the Lakeview School District’s June 24 event at Prairieview Elementary. You will lead engaging, travel-themed experiences for elementary students and families, aligned with the At-Risk program’s intents.

Responsibilities include preparing materials, setting up stations, and guiding hands-on activities while ensuring a safe, inclusive environment and smooth event operations.

Qualifications

• Current Lakeview School District Paraeducator status required.
• Interest or experience in thematic or experiential learning preferred.
• Strong organizational and facilitation skills.
• Experience with elementary age children preferred.
• Effective summative rating on most recent evaluation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize vacation/travel-themed activities for elementary students.
• Prepare and manage materials and supplies for interactive stations.
• Set up and facilitate activities during the event on June 24.
• Engage students and families in inclusive, hands-on learning experiences.
• Support event logistics, including setup, transitions, and cleanup.
• Ensure a safe, welcoming and engaging environment for all participants.
