Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Telemetry RN.
- Current valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
- Current ACLS Certification.
Responsibilities
- Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs and telemetry data.
- Administers prescribed medications and treatments focused on cardiac care.
- Aids physicians during cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
- Maintains comfort and safety of telemetry patients.
- Documents nursing history and assessments for telemetry patients.
- Initiates patient education on cardiac health and risk factors.
