Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel assignment in Simi Valley, California. This 13-week contract requires 36 hours per week, 12-hour days, and an active RN license with BLS & ACLS.

Acute Care Telemetry experience (18 months) is required, with duties focusing on monitoring telemetry data and patient care. Hospital benefits include weekly pay, housing options or allowance, credentialing fee coverage, and health insurance.

Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS & ACLS Certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Telemetry setting

Responsibilities

• Provide care for telemetry patients by connecting them to monitoring equipment and interpreting data.
• Monitor and interpret data to identify health issues and care needs.
• Develop nursing care plans and maintain accurate medical records
