Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Telemetry RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Springfield, Illinois. This role focuses on continuous cardiac monitoring, assessment, and collaboration with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.

The candidate should have one year of Telemetry RN experience, an active RN license, and current BLS and ACLS certifications. Shift is nights, 12 hours, with a 36-hour work week, and travel compensation is provided.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Telemetry RN.
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care.
• Prepares equipment and assists physician during cardiac procedures.
• Maintains comfort and safety of telemetry patients.
• Documents nursing history and assessments for telemetry patients.
• Initiates patient education on cardiac health and lifestyle.
