Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Telemetry RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Springfield, Illinois. This role focuses on continuous cardiac monitoring, assessment, and patient-centered care in a telemetry unit. You will collaborate with a diverse healthcare team to deliver high‑quality outcomes while maintaining patient safety.

Requirements include one year of Telemetry RN experience, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Preferred PCCN/NIHSS credentials may be considered.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Telemetry RN experience.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms and telemetry data.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments for cardiac care.
• Aids physicians during cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Maintains patient safety and comfort in the telemetry unit.
• Documents patient status and communicates changes to the team.
• Responds to cardiac emergencies according to protocols.
• Educates patients on cardiac health and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team for comprehensive care.
• Upholds patient confidentiality and privacy.
