Job summary

Cross Country Nurses seeks a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel assignment in Phoenix, AZ. The role features 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, for a 13-week duration in a Level 1 trauma neuro unit.

Responsibilities include caring for neuro patients, titrating medications, interpreting EKGs, sterile technique, ventilators and central monitoring. Requires ACLS and BLS, RN license, and at least 2 years of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
• Neuro telemetry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for neuro telemetry patients including trached, CVA, TBI, spinal surgery, encephalopathy, ESRD, psych issues, and brain tumor cases.
• Titrate medications such as Heparin, Amio, and Cardizem, and interpret EKGs.
• Maintain sterile technique, bedside reporting, and manage ventilators and central monitoring systems.
