Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a Telemetry RN for a travel assignment in West Burlington, IA. Start date 10/26/2026, duration 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, 12-hour nights. Travel status and tax-free stipends may apply, with pay based on shifts.

The Telemetry RN will monitor heart rate, blood pressure, oxygenation, and ECG data, interpreting trends and coordinating with the medical team to ensure patient safety. ACLS/BLS/CPI/NIH certifications are required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.
• ACLS, BLS, NIH, CPI certifications.
• Ability to work 12-hour nights and travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and adjust equipment and interpret electronic displays.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the medical team.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring data shows adverse symptoms.
