Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Telemetry Travel Nurse to join a travel assignment in Peoria, IL. This 13-week contract requires 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience and current BLS/ACLS certifications.

You will monitor telemetry equipment, provide bedside care, and respond to abnormal readings as part of a dynamic travel team. Travel experience is preferred, and a tax-free stipend may apply.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Required BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and patient data from monitoring equipment.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the medical team.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring data indicates adverse symptoms.
