Job summary

TotalMed RN seeks a Telemetry Travel Nurse for a 13-week assignment in Milwaukee, WI. The RN will monitor heart rate, blood pressure, respiratory data, and ECG, while providing essential bedside care and timely interpretation of telemetry data.

Ideal candidates have ACLS/BLS certification, 2+ years of acute care telemetry experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Travel nurses honor 12-hour night shifts with a 36-hour work week and tax-free stipends as applicable.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required or must be obtained prior to assignment.
• 2 years of acute care nursing experience, preferably in telemetry.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs.
• 12-hour night shifts for travel assignments and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care and connect patients to monitoring equipment.
• Monitor and adjust telemetry equipment and interpret electronic displays.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the medical team.
• Initiate corrective actions based on monitoring data to ensure patient safety.
