Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Telemetry RN for a travel assignment in Hartford, CT. This Telemetry/Med-Surg RN will cover 12-hour nights for a 13-week engagement, with 36 hours per week and travel benefits. ACLS/BLS required, along with 1-2 years of acute care experience.

The nurse will monitor cardiac telemetry, interpret data, and respond to telemetry alarms while providing essential bedside care. Travel-friendly benefits and a tax-free stipend may apply to this position.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' recent acute care experience required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required before assignment.
• Travel RN position with 13-week duration and 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and monitor patients on telemetry.
• Interpret and record electronic displays from cardiac monitoring equipment.
• Identify abnormal telemetry readings and escalate to the medical team.
• Initiate actions when monitoring data shows adverse symptoms.
