Job summary

TotalMed RN in Rock Island, IL is seeking a Telemetry RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Med Surg / Telemetry. The right candidate will have 1–2 years of acute care experience and hold ACLS and BLS certifications. This travel role includes 12-hour nights and a 36-hour work week.

The Telemetry RN will assess patients, monitor telemetry equipment, and respond to abnormal readings while coordinating with the healthcare team to optimize patient care.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• RN license in Illinois or eligibility.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Telemetry knowledge and patient monitoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and related equipment; record data.
• Identify abnormal telemetry readings and inform the medical team.
• Initiate corrective actions based on monitoring data.
