Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Med Surg/Telemetry RN for a 13-week assignment in Columbia, SC. The role requires 1 year of Med Surg/Telemetry experience, an active RN license, and current BLS certification. Travel pay comes with comprehensive benefits and a supportive clinical team.

You'll work 36 hours per week, with 12-hour days, in a facility setting, delivering high-quality patient-centered care and collaborating with the care team to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Med Surg/Telemetry RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families, addressing concerns and ensuring understanding.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments following nursing standards.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ conditions and document changes for the care team.
• Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures and assist physicians during treatments.
• Document patient information, including vital signs and care outcomes, in the medical record.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement individualized care plans.
• Prioritize care based on acuity and clinical needs.
