Job summary

TotalMed RN in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Telemetry RN for a travel assignment with Med Surg / Telemetry specialty. The role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience and a valid RN license, with BLS certification preferred.

The nurse will cover 12-hour nights, 48 hours per week, in a travel capacity. As a Tele Travel Nurse, you will monitor telemetry equipment, interpret readings, and ensure timely escalation of any abnormal findings.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' acute care experience required or preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Telemetry experience preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide telemetry and bedside care.
• Monitor heart rate, blood pressure, respiration and ECG data.
• Identify abnormal telemetry readings and escalate to the medical team.
• Initiate corrective action based on monitoring data and symptoms.
