TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Charlottesville, Virginia. This assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, featuring 12-hour day shifts in a Med Surg/Telemetry unit.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of acute care experience and required certifications such as BLS and ACLS. You will monitor telemetry data, provide bedside care, and respond to evolving patient conditions as part of a travel team.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of acute care experience preferred.
• Telemetry monitoring and rapid data interpretation required.
• Basic bedside care and patient assistance expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and adjust equipment and interpret displays.
• Identify abnormal telemetry readings and notify medical team.
• Initiate corrective action based on monitoring data.
