Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Telemetry RN for a travel assignment in Ponca City, Oklahoma. This Med Surg/Telemetry role runs for 12 weeks at 36 hours per week, with night shifts. An immediate start is preferred for RNs with acute care experience.

The Telemetry RN will monitor patients using ECG and vital signs equipment, perform bedside care, interpret data, and alert the team to any abnormal readings, ensuring timely interventions.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience required.
• BLS and NIH certifications required; additional certifications may be needed.
• Telemetry RN with Med Surg/Telemetry specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data from ECG and vital signs equipment.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the medical team.
• Initiate corrective action based on monitoring data.
