Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel assignment in Ponca City, Oklahoma. The role requires an active RN license, a nursing degree, BLS, and 18 months of Acute Care Med/Surg experience.

Position is travel, 36 hours weekly with 12-hour night shifts. Housing options, weekly pay, and comprehensive benefits are provided by MedPro Staffing as a Joint Commission-certified agency.

Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS Certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient's health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Meticulous documentation as to medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians and other treatment team members.
