Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Telemetry RN for a travel nursing assignment in Evansville, Indiana. This Telemetry/Med Surg role requires 1-2 years of acute care experience and offers 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week, and a travel contract.

The RN will monitor telemetry equipment, interpret data, provide bedside care, and collaborate with the medical team. Travel pay includes weekly pay, guaranteed hours, and benefits from first day of employment.

Qualifications

• Telemetry RN with acute care nursing background.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• NIH certification/experience may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and monitor telemetry equipment.
• Interpret and record electronic displays and vital signs.
• Identify abnormal telemetry readings and notify the medical team.
• Initiate corrective actions based on monitoring data.
