Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Telemetry RN for a travel assignment in Evansville, IN. The role is Med Surg/Telemetry with 48 hours per week, 12-hour nights, and a 13-week duration. Start date: 10/12/2026.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience and valid BLS/ACLS; NIH may be required before starting. Responsibilities include bedside care, telemetry monitoring, interpreting data, and responding to adverse findings.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIH certification or willingness to obtain may be required

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and monitor patients’ telemetry
• Interpret data from monitoring equipment and report changes
• Identify abnormal telemetry readings and notify the medical team
• Operate and adjust telemetry and life-support related devices
• Assist patients standing, lifting up to 50 pounds when needed
