Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced Telemetry RN in California with a current CA RN license and EPIC experience to support hospital telemetry units. The role requires 2+ years RN experience, including at least 1 year in acute care and telemetry, plus phlebotomy and IV therapy skills.

Travel nursing experience is required for consideration. Work involves 3x12 shifts, floating across two campuses, and strict RTO rules. Local candidates may be paid at traveler rates.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license required in-hand at time of application (EMSA not accepted).
• ACLS and BLS certificates in-hand; CPI and NIHSS preferred.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience; minimum 1 year acute care.
• Minimum 1 year telemetry experience in past 2 years.
• Phlebotomy and IV therapy skills required.
• EPIC EMR experience documented in work history.
• Two supervisor references required.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Telemetry unit of a hospital setting.
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
• Floats between two campus locations with primary unit assignment.
• Prior travel nursing experience required for consideration.
• Must be gone a minimum of 1 year before returning as a traveler.
• No RTO within first two weeks of assignment.
• Max 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract preferred.
• Local candidates accepted at same pay rate as travelers.
