Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a Telemetry RN for an 8‑week travel assignment in Cambridge, MA. The role emphasizes continuous cardiac monitoring, patient assessment, and collaboration with the care team.

The candidate should have 1 year of telemetry experience, an active RN license, BLS and ACLS. Start date is 01/04/2027 with 12‑hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, and travel benefits provided.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Telemetry RN
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs and telemetry data to detect abnormalities and respond
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care
• Assists physician during cardiac-related procedures and examinations
• Maintains patient comfort and safety in telemetry units
• Documents nursing history and assessments for telemetry patients
• Initiates patient education plans focused on cardiac health and risk factors
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Adheres to hospital safety protocols and regulatory standards
