Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a 4-week assignment in Newburyport, MA. You will monitor cardiac rhythms, administer cardiac medications, and collaborate with the care team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a telemetry unit.

Applicants should have 1 year of Telemetry RN experience, an active MA RN license, BLS and ACLS. The role offers competitive pay, benefits, and a supportive clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Telemetry RN
• Current valid RN license in Massachusetts
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs and telemetry data, and responds to abnormalities
• Administers prescribed cardiac medications and treatments per nursing protocols
• Prepares equipment and assists physicians during cardiac procedures and exams
• Maintains patient comfort and safety in the telemetry unit
• Documents nursing history, assessments and interventions accurately
• Educates patients on cardiac health, risk factors and lifestyle changes
• Collaborates with the care team to ensure high-quality patient care
• Compliance with hospital safety, infection control and policies
