Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Telemetry/Med Surg travel nurse in Onancock, Virginia. You'll care for patients, monitor heart and vital signs, and support the telemetry team during 12-hour night shifts. This travel role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience and BLS certification.

Assignment length is 13 weeks with 48 hours per week. Qualified candidates will perform bedside care, interpret monitors, and communicate findings to the medical team.

Qualifications

• Telemetry RN experience and acute care background.
• BLS certification required before start.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and monitor telemetry equipment.
• Interpret electronic displays and document findings.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the care team.
• Initiate corrective actions based on monitoring data.
